# Blink assets

These are the high-resolution source assets for the Blink redesign. The master
PNGs are kept large on purpose. Generate smaller WebP or AVIF derivatives from
them for pages and social uploads.

## Folders

- `profile`: monochrome portrait and profile-ready avatar crops
- `projects`: Website, AI tools and Writing feature images
- `social`: X, GitHub, YouTube and tall social background artwork
- `og`: default Open Graph artwork
- `icons`: Blink mark, favicon variants and exploratory SVG concepts

The generated art has no embedded copy, which keeps it reusable. Add titles in
HTML or SVG so they stay sharp, accessible and easy to translate.

## Social profile kit

- Use the square avatar master PNG when a platform turns a transparent portrait
  white. It is a 1254 × 1254 square crop with a quiet
Blink background and is designed to hold up inside a circular mask.
- Use `profile/loke-blink-portrait-transparent.png` only where the platform
preserves transparency or lets you choose the background yourself.
- Use `social/blink-story-background-master.png` for stories, portrait posts
and short updates. The center is intentionally quiet so copy or a portrait
can sit on top without fighting the artwork.
- WebP siblings are included for web pages. Use the master PNGs for social
uploads when the platform accepts them.

## Favicon explorations

The SVGs in `icons/concepts/` are explorations, not active replacements. They
all keep the Blink palette, a dark field and simple paths so they can be tuned
without a raster workflow. The current favicon remains
`icons/blink-favicon.svg` until one direction is selected.
