How affiliate links are marked

A link that can earn a commission is labelled Affiliate link near the recommendation or covered by a clear disclosure at the start of the article. Affiliate links also use the sponsored link relationship where applicable.

How products are selected

A commission does not decide whether a product is included or where it is ranked. The starting point is the reader's job, followed by technical fit, limitations, cost, operating effort, and credible alternatives. A product may be discussed without an affiliate relationship, and a poor fit is still a poor fit when a program pays well.

Testing and evidence

Pages distinguish between tools used on loke.dev, products tested for a specific article, and candidates evaluated from current documentation. The site does not claim first-hand use where there was none. Material pricing or feature claims should link to the provider's current documentation and carry a verification date.

Outbound click measurement

Some partner links on loke.dev and related projects pass through a short loke.dev redirect so aggregate outbound clicks can be counted. The application event records the destination, site, page placement, and whether the link was direct or affiliated. It does not set an analytics cookie or create a personal browsing profile. Cloudflare still processes the network request as described in the privacy notice.

Changes and corrections

Affiliate programs, prices, and product terms change. Old links may be replaced, removed, or changed back to direct links. If a commercial relationship or factual error was not disclosed correctly, contact loke.dev so it can be reviewed.
